DIRECT BILLING POLICY

By providing your Benefit Insurance information, you consent your massage therapist to claim your benefits on your behalf. The claim is processed before 10 AM on the day of your appointment. The claim is reversible, but if you must cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a Late Notice or No-show fee of FULL treatment rate applies. Let your massage therapist know if you wish to sign and obtain a Direct Billing Contract.

NEW - CHANGES IN TREATMENT RATE

Starting January 1, 2025, for Pacific Blue Cross benefit users and any other benefit users, we are offering 55 minutes treatment (50 minutes treatment length) to accommodate the 100% coverage cost of $126 including GST this way you don’t have to pay out of your pocket, or have an option if you decide to book for the whole 60 minutes treatment for co-pay of $10.50 including GST, treatment rate total $136.50 (55 minutes treatment length)

Just a reminder that whatever the treatment time you decide to book, that is what we are going to charge you

NEW – ICBC CO-PAY FOR SUBSEQUENT TREATMENT

Starting January 1, 2025, we are charging $6.30 co-pay for 45-minute subsequent treatment as ICBC hasn’t adjusted their rate coverage. For Initial visit, it will remain 100% covered.

NEW – PAYMENT DEVICE

Starting immediately, CLOVER is now our primary point of sale and the credit cards on file saved on JaneApp (booking site) is now just back up or emergency payment method of late cancellations or no-show fees as well as booking your appointments online.

Clover – 2.5% for credit cards and $0.05 per debit or interact

If you pay cash, you won’t get surcharged.

Massage therapy provided by our bodyworkers who are either currently in massage therapy program, preparing for their board exams or in transition to attain their licensure in BC. Birthe Pedersen

My name is Birthe which is a Danish name, pronounced Beer-da. I grew up in the lower mainland but moved to Alberta in the early 1990 to raise my family. I am a mother of 2 adult children and grandmother of 3. I recently moved back to BC to help care for my aging family members.

I took all my massage training in Edmonton, having graduated in June 2021 from MacEwan University. I then continued my education by taking the 3-year acupuncture program while continuing to work as a RMT. Now being back in BC, I will only be working as a student/bodyworker until I take the board exams in Spring 2025.

I have knowledge of relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, dynamic cupping, prenatal, and lymph drainage massage techniques. I specialize in whole body treatments, meaning that I will work the problem areas but also the rest of the body. This can include range of motion testing, improving body mechanics and applying stretches within and outside of treatment room.

Mariel Ramos

Mariel Ramos is a Registered Massage Therapist as of April 2023. She completed her program at Vancouver Career College in January 2023. When she was in school, she spent her outreach days at assisted living residence for seniors and SFU sports medicine for university athletics where she developed the love for relaxation/swedish and sports massage.

Mariel enjoys working with diverse patients and she believes each body has unique needs and should be addressed accordingly. She finds it very rewarding to help others feel better. In her practice, she uses a variety of techniques to cater to each need, including Swedish or relaxation, trigger point/myofascial techniques, joint mobilization, with certification to Hot/cold stone massage and Pregnancy Massage therapy

When Mariel isn’t at work she loves outdoors. She enjoys gardening, a good book in her papasan chair with two cats in her lap, walking her dog and spending time with her family and friends.

Jagbinder Singh has been a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since September 2024. With an in-depth understanding and foundation of 10 years of experience in the medical field back in India. This knowledge allows him to develop effective and personalized treatment plans for his clients.

Jagbinder Singh is passionate about helping others and uses a variety of massage techniques to address individual needs which includes Swedish (relaxation) massage, myofascial techniques, joint mobilization and uses IASTM - Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, a non-invasive manual therapy technique that uses specialized tools to treat soft tissue dysfunctions.

In his spare time, Jagbinder Singh was enjoys staying active by working out and exploring nature through walks. He also finds joy in reading and embraces his adventurous side with activities like skydiving, bungee jumping, and scuba diving.
